Pakistan Defeated India At Executive Board Of UNESCO In The United Nations

“NEWS POST PK” Geneva: Pakistan has got a major success on the global stage as India's nefarious attempt to isolate Pakistan on the global stage has failed miserably.

In the election for the member of the Executive Board of UNESCO in the United Nations, India tried hard to prevent Pakistan from being elected as a member.

However, India lost and Pakistan was re-elected as the Executive Board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the period 2023-2027 with 154 votes.

Apart from this, in the election for the post of Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of UNESCO, Pakistan won the election by getting 38 out of 58 votes while India got only 18 votes.

Pakistan has now become the Vice-Chairman of UNESCO for two years.

It should be noted that the selection of Pakistan as the Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of UNESCO has many potential benefits for the country. This position plays an important role in the formulation of UNESCO's policies and programmes.

Pakistan's re-appointment is the best verification of Pakistan's longstanding help and productive job in the Unified Nations. Pakistan will play a significant part in worldwide backing and collaboration on issues of education, culture, science and correspondence.

Membership of the Executive Board of UNESCO will also provide Pakistan with an excellent opportunity to expand its diplomatic relations and cooperation with other member countries.

This achievement is a matter of pride for the country as it is a huge success at the global level.
