Flydubai's Aircraft And Crew Numbers Have Grown Exponentially

The world-renowned airline FlyDubai has made extraordinary changes in the number of its aircraft and crew due to its business perspective.

The total number of aircraft on the Dubai airline has reached 84, while currently, 5500 employees are serving the airline. Compared to last year, there has been a huge increase of 19% in the number of staff this year.

In a statement issued by Fly Dubai Company, it has been said that the number of aircraft and staff of the airline will have increased significantly by the end of this year, 2023.

The airline currently has 55 737 MAX aircraft in its fleet. Apart from this, 29 modern aircraft (800–737) are also available to serve passengers.

Flydubai has added 13 more Boeing 737 Max to its fleet this year. After adding 1,000 specialists to the company's staff this year, the total number of employees has reached 5,500, which is 19 percent more than in 2022.

Established in 2008, the airline has been providing quality services to its customers, which has led to rapid growth in its business volume, the airline added in its statement.

During this year's Dubai Airshow, the company signed an agreement to purchase 30 Boeing 787 Dreamlines. The company has also signed a $190 million contract to build state-of-the-art hangars for ship inspections in Dubai, which will be completed by 2026.

The company said that the number of passengers has increased by 30 percent this year compared to last year; 17 new stations were inaugurated by the company last year.

Flydubai flights currently serve passengers to 122 destinations in Africa, Central Asia, Southeast Europe, GCC countries, the Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia.
